|
Ahmed Abou Doma, has been appointed The Marketing Director of Mobinil in
October, 2003.
Mr. Abou Doma has a proven track record in the Marketing domain. In Mobinil, he
started in Market Development Department and was in charge of developing
postpaid and prepaid services for the consumer segment. As part of the start up
team for Mobinil Launch in 1998, he contributed to the laying down of basic GSM
value propositions that were introduced for the first time in Egyptian Market
at the time for both postpaid and prepaid.
Since year 2000 Mr. Abou Doma has taken on the role of Senior Market Planning
and Development Manager. Within that role, he had the responsibility to run the
planning and budgeting functions of the Marketing Department. During that
period he was awarded by the International Telecommunication Union (I.T.U)
based in Switzerland the "Professional Certificate for Telecom Business
Planning".
Since 2001 and as a Senior Market Strategy and Analysis Manager, Mr. Abou Doma
has led various functions within Mobinil Marketing function encompassing
Strategic Marketing, Pricing, Planning, Market Intelligence Analysis and
Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
Since 1996 Mr. Abou Doma has led the Business Development team in Datum IDS
establishing and setting the ground rules for the Internet business unit in the
company.
In IBM and since 1993, Mr. Abou Doma had the responsibilities of owning &
developing some of IBM business verticals such as cross industry applications,
Health and Academia.
Mr. Abou Doma holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and
Communications Engineering from Cairo University in 1992.
