Rana Abbadi was appointed VP, Transformation effective January 2007.
Rana Abbadi has a solid track record as CFO with over twelve years of telecom
industry experience and extensive exposure to the company operations.
Her substantial hands on experience in business leadership, working with
investors, Board of Directors, and Banks paved the way for her visionary
leadership role in creating a new Transformation function and made her an
excellent candidate for this new critical function in Mobinil. The
Transformation Department came about to meet the new challenges in the
competitive environment, new business alliances, new management concepts and
new ways of doing business.
The creation of this new function was crucial to be responsible for these
challenges which would lead Mobinil into the new era of enhanced services,
service delivery and improved quality and efficiency through the coordination
of all business activities and processes.
Rana Abbadi was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Mobinil in July 2003. Rana
is an experienced Finance and Operations professional with over 15 years of
multinational experience; holding various management positions in Jordan's
Fastlink, the Welfare Association, and Deloitee and Touche to name a few; she
was working with Mobinil since June 1998 as Financial Controller, she then
joined Orascom Telecom Holding SAE in June 2000, and returned to Mobinil in
June 2001 as Finance Director. Rana Abbadi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in
Accounting and Business Administration.
