Magdy Gabra has been appointed Customer Service Department Director with effect
from May 2003.
Mr. Gabra joined Mobinil on The January 1, 2002 as National Sales Senior
Manager in charge of all Customer Centers and Shop-in-Shops. During this period
he was able to reorganize the National Sales Channel where outstanding results
in the areas of sales, customer service, internal control and standardization
were achieved.
Prior to joining Mobinil; Mr. Gabra spent his entire career of 23 years holding
different Marketing, Sales and Customer Service positions in the airline
industry. In May 1978, Mr. Gabra joined Trans World Airlines Inc. [TWA] in the
Customer Service Department and worked his way up in the organization to hold
various managerial positions in the Middle East and Europe; responsible for
Sales, Marketing and operational activities.
During his career with TWA the following was part of his achievements;
successfully leading all integration functions between TWA and American
Airlines (AA) after the acquisition in the Middle East, presentation, Launch
and management of the Trans Atlantic operations to Saudi Arabia, directed the
Sales and Marketing activities for the European and Middle Eastern countries
during 1993, and played a major role in the yield improvement of the Trans
Atlantic flight segments originating in the Middle Eastern markets.
Mr. Gabra brings to Mobinil a rich business management experience both
domestically and internationally through his exposure in a multinational
company.
Mr. Gabra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure Mathematics and
Mathematical Statistics from Ain-Shams University.
