Mobinil was honored to receive two distinguished awards on Tuesday June 19,
2007 for the Best Website and the
Best Annual Report for 2006 presented by the Egyptian Institute of
Directors in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation [IFC].
Mobinil President and CEO Alex Shalaby received the awards on behalf of Mobinil
at Mena House Oberoi Hotel.
Both awards recognize Mobinil for leading the way in transparency
and disclosure of information to all stakeholders, by following best practices
in corporate governance, quality of information, featured results and
operational highlights, management discussions and analyses, indicators on
prospects, and employee relations.
For the second consecutive year, Mobinil won the Cristal Award for the best ad in the Service Category at the ceremony on Thursday 14, February, 2008 in Beirut.
The MENA Cristal Awards was created in 2005 to introduce a new and ambitious competition in all the Middle East and North African (MENA) countries. This comes as the Middle East & North Africa version of the Méribel Ad Festival in Europe.

launched the 2006 Best Annual Report and Best Website competitions which are
evaluated by an independent Jury, inviting all listed companies in Egypt to
participate.
