As part of Mobinil's continuous efforts to be an active citizen in the Egyptian society, we are pleased to announce that Mobinil has participated in the American University in Cairo's "Naming Opportunity" initiative for its new campus located in New Cairo.The AUC's "Naming Opportunity" aimed at raising donations from private donors whose names will appear on the buildings, classrooms, courtyards and facilities made possible by their contributions, hence the Sports Tower has been named Mobinil Tower.

Mobinil's Chairman, Alex Shalaby has inaugurated Mobinil Tower in a special celebration that was held at the new premises on April 22, 2009, in the presence of the American Ambassador in Cairo, H.E Margaret Scobey and AUC President Dr. David D. Arnold.

Mobinil was proud to sponsor Injaz Egypt Student Company Competition for the third consecutive year. Mobinil offered prizes to the winners of the Best Company Award and Best Enthusiastic Team Award. The event was held on April 28, 2009 and filmed by the esteemed Public Broadcast Station in the USA [PBS]. The report was aired on PBSs Frontline World, representing a great opportunity to showcase the positive potential of Egypt through its young generation.
