The event included a presentation from Research In Motion (RIM) Sales Director Ben Quirin and Adrian Kingenberg on BlackBerry Enterprise solutions to 120 key national, multinational, and government business accounts. The audience received a comprehensive explanation of the new product line of services and solutions which range from the sophisticated BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) to the simpler BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS).

The solutions enable businesses of any scale to increase their mobility and productivity through wireless email synchronization, wireless calendar and contacts synchronization, cost-effective support for individual-owned BlackBerry smartphones, support for Microsoft Exchange Server and Windows Small Business Server, support for IBM Lotus Domino or Novell GroupWise, no additional cost for software or licenses, support for up to 75 BlackBerry smartphone users without additional server hardware, minimal administration requirements, enhanced security features, BlackBerry smartphone management features, and advanced features such as high availability, BlackBerry Monitoring Service, BlackBerry Messenger, BlackBerry Mobile Voice System, or Chalk Pushcast Software.

BlackBerry is safe to use and fully protects files on the server, emails are encrypted to ensure security and confidentiality, and there is an option of compressing files for easy transmission and reception. Corporate customers can also make additional copies of all important files transferred from PC to BlackBerry, thus providing an additional copy of the files which they can refer to any time. It is also important to note that BlackBerry provides full virus protection.
